If you do not play in full screen or using the screen size didn't work, you can use this method. If that doesn't work you'll have to use the second method. So for a 1080p display that would be 1920 / 2 = 960 for the width and 1080 / 2 = 540 for the height. ![]() So first of if you do play in full screen, you can assume that horizontal center is Screen Width / 2 and vertical center is Screen height / 2. Now it's important to remember, that if you do not play the game in fullscreen, the values you need to put in Monitor horizontal center and Monitor vertical center are not the exact center of your screen. For this to work you will need to find out the center of your screen (duh). With this option enabled the displayed mouse movement will be far more accurate. This option is very useful, since mouse movement is mostly interesting when playing games. (I might change it so it's not as confusing anymore) Monitor center If you move slightly to the left the dot will move quite a bit. Currently the sensitivity is an inverse ratio, meaning that if it's lower the mouse movement will be amplified. If you move your mouse to the left the dot will also move to the left. This only applies if you use the "dot movement" preset. This value determines how much mouse movement impacts the displayed movement. If you use a mouse overlay with movement enabled, you'll be presented with additional options: Mouse sensitivity Enabled the gamepad hook in the configuration dialog: After connecting a supported gamepad, click on "Reload gamepads" and then pick the device in "Gamepad id" combobox. The gamepad overlay requires the selection of a gamepad. Same option as the one in the image source. If you did here's some information on how to configure them: Apply alpha in linear spaceĬan be enabled when recording in HDR. ![]() ![]() Unless you chose a mouse or gamepad overlay, there's no further configuration needed. Now create a new input-overlay source, and provide the source with both the texture and the config file of your chosen preset: There's a couple of premade and community made ones, so just use whichever you like and extract it or create your own. This new source type takes an image and a config file to visualize the current state of different input devices.įirst grab yourself a preset from the presets zip archive, which is provided on the release page.
